Distributed by KVIE public television, Unexpected Legends: Arneson, Eggheads and Arts at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â tells the surprising tale of the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â art department from its founders to its inheritors. Since their completion in 1994, the five sculptures comprising the Egghead Series on the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â campus have elicited joy, protest, engagement and conversation. They’re also a fascinating entry point into the broader story of art in California and at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â. The premiere airs November 13 at 7 p.m., but it will be re-aired periodically.
